ABSTRACT

Chapter I Introduction
The first chapter is the introduction to project and should cover the importance, background,
concepts used by you in carrying out this project
Chapter II Related Theory
This chapter should content the theory related to the project. Important definition, concepts,
short derivation if required should include in this chapter.
Chapter III Design & Methodology
This chapter deals with how you have done your project. To be more precise, here you should
list out the methodology adopted by you. You should cover all statistical tools, Model
development, Circuit Diagram, Flow chart, Program, your methods to collect information etc.
Chapter IV Results
This chapter deals with the results of findings of your report. The data which you had
collected by your methodology should be analysed and the results should be listed in this
section. Make maximum use of figures / tables - remember a picture often replaces a
thousand words.
Chapter V Conclusions and Future Scope
This should not be a repetition of the Results, but should critically evaluate the significance
of your results, which should also be critically appraised. You can also add what should be
done in future so as to carry out the research forward.

Specification for Project Report


1. Textual contents must be neatly typed with one and half line space on A4 size good
quality bond paper on one side

with LM= 1.5 , RM=1.0 , BM=1.0 and

TM=1.0
2. The font details to be selected for various textual contents are as
follows :

3. All figures, sketches and diagrams as well as the tables, if any must appear clearly
and conform to the margin. All these must be properly numbered chapter wise and
the sequence in which they appear within a chapter. Further, these must be followed
by the suitable captions. Figure caption should be below the figure with centre justify
with font Times new Roman 10 pts and table caption should be above table with
centre justify with font Times new Roman 10 pts. Do not split the table on two
pages.
Proofreading
Before submitting your report you need to proofread it at least twice to make sure no errors in
spellings occur. Basic grammar rules should be followed and you should not use slang
language at any point in report. Also avoid the use of abbreviations as far as possible and
write complete words.
Finalization of Report
Usually students need to make two copies of project report. But first of all you should take
print out of just one copy and get it checked by your guide. Printing should be done on bond
paper (with minimum 80 gsm) A4 size paper and only on one side. Once the report is
checked by you and your guide, get it spiral bounded and then submit it to the department.
