Having the right brand image is crucial in developing
customer loyalty.
In essence, our mission should be embodied in our brand
promise. Are you delivering what people expect?
The cycle to achieve brand presence starts with 1)
Informing people what your mission or promise is all about.
2) Draw people in to know more about your product,

they may have and finally 4) provide support or customer

In building a brand, you must respect people and their
values. The emotional aspect of branding is fast becoming
a crucial component in developing a relationship with a
customer. If the customer is able to see what they can
gain from a personalized experience, there is a greater
likelihood that they will develop greater brand awareness.
Emotional branding must appeal to the five senses of sight,
smell, taste, touch and feel. It must also appeal to the Visit of World President Lars Hajslund and US Jaycees Presi-

Many of the concepts that Fred Sullivan spoke about in the realm of
starting a business is very much applicable to our Jaycee
organization. There is no doubt that we will begin to review our
organization’s brand as we continue all the projects that we have
conducted through the year.

About Fred Sullivan

Silicon Alley pioneer, Fred Sullivan has had a strong record as an
entrepreneur. He founded LiQ, a shopping search engine, in 1998. The
company was later sold for $48 million. His interactive agency NetReaction,
founded in 1997, created Pihana Pacific's online marketing and branding
strategy. In December 2002, Pihana successfully merged with Equinox, a
publicly traded company, for an estimated minimum value of $1.28 billion. He
has consulted on many other technology start-ups,as well as for Fortune 500
and Global 1000 companies such as Trammell Crow and Sumitomo
Corporation.
