Job Title: Quality Engineer

Summary:

As the Quality Engineer you are responsible for Quality Engineering tasks for all quality product/process
development. This includes advance process quality planning, FMEA, process mapping, process flow, work
instruction coordination, KPI introduction and quality control plans.

The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for assisting current quality inspectors/supervisors.

Accountabilities:

Develop Process Flow Diagrams / Control Plans - Draft and Final.


Develop PFMEA documentation with Cross functional support.
Develop QIC's (Quality Inspection Cards) with support of process quality / inspectors.
Control /MSA studies Lab equipment / 100% in process inspection of Lab/Test Equipments.
Inspection reports and capability studies.
Verification of process capacity and cycle times against quote.
Liaise with Engineering when interpreting Phases for ISIR's/FAIR report.
Support engineering in completion of compliance matrix with regard to Quality / Inspection features.
Support when necessary measurement lab and process Quality Engineers.
Co-ordination/Investigation of Quality concerns with 8D/NCR/Investigation report.
Process Flow/Control Plan development/management.
Quarantine area control.
Review and investigate process failures and assist in the implementation of Corrective and Preventative
action.

Apply quality tools (e.g. FMEA, DOE, standard work) to assess process performance and drive continual
improvement initiatives.
Customer/Supplier liaison re-quality concerns and raising of SDMRs.
Continuously monitor process capability indices to identify potential risks as well as opportunities for
improvement.
Develop inspection procedures, methods, sampling plans and specification in support of the development of
new processes.
Participate in internal and supplier audits as required.
Maintaining housekeeping (5S) standards.
Maintaining safe working practices.

Qualification that are Desirable:

You have a degree level Engineering or technical discipline and at least 2-years of experience in quality.
Engineering experience preferably in the Automotive or Aerospace industries.
Experience and demonstrated application of Quality Management Systems.
Experience with 6 Sigma/Lean, In-process Quality and ISO 9001, TS 16949, AS 9100.
You shall be result oriented with good communication and organization skills.
You have great leadership skills, with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with team members.
You like to work in a team environment.
Fluent in English.
