Magnificent and important presences are easily felt. They surround us and
become part of us, permeating our lives and accommodating themselves in our
homes, manifesting themselves slowly but surely, when we least expect them. Large
and charismatic personalities, carve their names in stone and enormously impact
societal normslike the necessity of a vestibule, or walking to town to buy fresh
bread. This feeling is omnipresent in the town located just a few minutes away from
Giuseppe Verdis first home.

Nestled like a precious gem in the Parmesan countryside, Roncole Verdi is a
small neighborhood of Busetto and is known for being the birthplace of La
Traviatas composer, Giuseppe Verdi. In this town, Verdis presence is ubiquitous.
He played his first notes while guided by his mentor Pietro Baistrocchi in the towns
parochial church. A small sign on the church bell reads, the sublime Arch Angel of
Art gave Verdi an undoubtedly shining glory.
These homeowners were greatly influenced by their towns heritage and the
magnitude of Verdis talent. They were determined to complete a mission: to create
the perfect home; one so elegant and refined even the grand maestro would
approve.

Guided by this intention, Roberto Cigala Interior Design created a home that
embodies a fine example of the classical style. Both the first floors ambiance and the
sitting rooms in the attic were custom designed by an expert carpenter, who felt
inspired by the clean grace of traditional designs.

The living room is carefully designed and considered. It is filled with
luxurious fabrics, upholstering the furniture and adorning the drapery of the
window curtains. The walnut and cherry wood unite in perfect symphony, as
elegant and warm as time itself. The attention to detail is evidently seen from the
waiting room to the dining room table with matching chairs; perfect for receiving
guests. The same attention to detail and natural inclination for beauty is evident in
the studio, living room, library and T.V. room. In this house, a classical aesthetic
comes alive, bursting with the richness of the towns history.

Atmosfere Verdiane
Ci sono presenze, magnifiche e importanti, che si fanno sentire. Entrano a far
parte di noi, accarezzano le nostre vite e poi si accomodano nelle nostre case,
manifestandosi di tanto in tanto, quando meno ce lo si aspetta. Personaggi grandi e
carismatici, che hanno inciso il loro nome nella storia, che entrano nella quotidianit dei
nostri gesti pi insospettabili, come camminare nel vialetto dingresso o andare in paese a
comprare il pane fresco. Ecco, ci si deve sentire proprio cos ad abitare a pochi passi dalla
prima casa di Giuseppe Verdi.
Incastonata come una pietra preziosa nella campagna parmense, Roncole Verdi
una piccola frazione di Busseto ed nota per aver dato i natali al compositore de La
Traviata. Qui tutto parla di lui. Nella chiesa parrocchiale c ancora lantico organo su
cui aveva strimpellato le sue prime note, guidato dal mentore Pietro Baistrocchi. E una

targa sul campanile recita come larcangelo sublime dellarte avrebbe dato a Roncole
una fulgida gloria sicura.
Per tutto questo patrimonio passato e per linfluenza storica di un personaggio di
tale spessore, vivere in questa casa ha investito i proprietari di unimplicita missione:
creare una dimora perfetta, elegante, raffinata. Come se anche il grande maestro dovesse
approvare e gonfiare il petto dorgoglio.
Guidato da questintenzione Roberto Cigala ha pensato ad una dimora che incarna
un fine esempio di classico rivisitato. Sia gli ambienti del piano terra che i salottini della
zona mansardata sono stati realizzati a mano da un esperto artigiano falegname, che si
ispirato alla grazia sobria del design della tradizione.
Il salotto di rappresentanza, arredato coerentemente con la sua importanza, si
pregia di tessuti di eccellente qualit, che rivestono gli imbottiti e disegnano morbidi
drappeggi per i sontuosi tendaggi. Il legni di noce e ciliegio, proprio come in una
sinfonia, tornano leggiadri e caldi al tempo stesso. Lo fanno nella fine credenza e nel
tavolo da pranzo con sedie in coordinato, perfetti per ricevere gli ospiti, ma anche nello
studio, nei due salotti per la conversazione e la lettura e nella zona relax e tv.
In questa casa, il classico si ripresenta in una nuova veste trasmettendo unemozione che
profuma di anni gloriosi.
