RECAP: Starter Justin Germano and relievers Forrest Snow and Lucas Luetge combined on a 2-hit shutout as Tacoma defeated Fresno 2-0
on Friday night. It was the Rainiers 2nd sutout of the season (also: 4/23 vs. Albuquerque). Since 2010, it marked the Rainiers 5th shutout
allowing 2 hits or less (last: 2-H ShO, 4/20/14 vs. Sacramento). Germano (5.1,2,0,0,2,7) allowed only 2 hits while walking 2 and striking out 7
over 5.1 scoreless innings, but did not fator into the decision. RH Forrest Snow (1.2,0,0,0,1,3) earned his first win of the season striking out 3
in 1.2 innings, while LH Lucas Luetge (2.0,0,0,0,0,1) retired the final 6 batters in order to to pick up his first save of the year. SS Ketel Marte
(2x4, R, 2B) and LF/1B Patrick Kivlehan (2x3, BB) each led the Rainiers with 2 hits, while 2B Chris Taylor (1x4), 1B Jesus Montero (1x4, R,
RBI, SB), C John Hicks (1x3) and DH Shawn OMalley (1x2, BB) each recorded 1 of the teams 8 hits. Montero recorded only his 2nd stolen

RECAP: 1B D.J. Peterson and DH Daniel Paolini each homered and combined to drive in 7 runs as Jackson defeated Pensacola 8-3 on
Friday night. Paolini (1x4, R, HR, 3 RBI) hit a 3-run home run with 1 out as part of a 6-run 1st inning for the Generals. Peterson (2x4, 2 R, HR,
4 RBI, BB) drove in a season-high 4 runs, including recording his first home run of the year with a solo blast with 2 outs in the 2nd inning. LF
Dario Pizzano extended his hitting streak to 13-game, while leading the team with 3 hits. SS Jack Reinheimer (2x4, R, BB) and 3B Jordy
Lara (2x3, R, 3B) each recorded 2 of the teams 13 hits. Starter Danny Hultzen (3.1,3,1,0,1,4), who was making his first start since Sept. 1,
2013 with Tacoma, allowed 1 run (0 ER) on 3 hits over 3.1 innings. RH Andrew Kittredge (1.2,2,2,2,1,2) allowed 2 run in the top of the 5th
inning, while RH Grady Wood (3.0,2,0,0,0,4) and RH Tony Zych (1.0,0,0,0,0,0) combined to hold the Blue Wahoos scoreless over the final 4.0
innings to secure the win. Wood was credit with his first win of the season after striking out 4 in 3.0 shutout innings.
HULTZEN STARTING: LH Danny Hultzen made his season debut with AA Jackson on May vs. vs. Pensacola. He allowed 1 run (0 ER) on 3
hits over 3.1 innings, but did not factor into the Generals 8-3 win. He walked 1 and struck out 4, while throwing 56 pitches, 38 strikes. He
appeared in 1 game with the Mariners during Spring Training on March 11 vs. Colorado, allowing only 1 walk in 1.0 scoreless inning in relief.
Hultzen will be making his first start with an affiliated team since Sept. 1, 2013 vs. Sacramento, while on the AAA Tacoma Rainiers roster. He
missed all of the 2014 season after having left shoulder surgery on Oct. 1, 2013 to clean up his labrum and a partial tear of the rotator cuff and
repaired the capsule. Hultzen was the Mariners first round selection (2nd overall) in the 2011 First-Year MLB Player Draft. In 2 minor league
seasons (2012-13), he is 14-8 with a 2.82 ERA (50 ER, 159. 2 IP) in 32 starts. He has made 18 starts with AA Jackson between 2012-13,
going 5-5 with a 4.42 ERA (39 ER, 79.1 IP).
OF NOTE:
OF Dario Pizzano extended his hitting streak to 13 games, batting, .426 (23x54) with 6 runs scored, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 home run, 5 RBI,
1 walk and 2 stolen bases. His 13-game hitting streak is currently T2nd-longest in the league this season and 2nd-longest active streak.
Overall this season he has hit safely in 15 of 16 games this season, batting .410 (25x61) with 6 runs scored, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 home
run, 6 RBI, 3 walks and 2 stolen base.
o Pizzano has recorded 3 career hitting streaks of at least 12 games (last: 19 G, 8/7-25/13 w/Clinton).
After not recording a RBI in his first 8 games of the season, INF D.J. Peterson has driven in 10 over the last 11 games. Since April 25,
Peterson has hit safely in 4 of 6 games with 4 multi-hit contests, batting .346 (9x26) with 6 runs scored, 3 doubles, 1 home run, 7 RBI, 2
walks and 1 stolen base.
o Peterson set a season-high with 4 RBI on May 1 vs. Pensacola. It was his 9th career game with at least 4 RBI (last: 5, 9/1/14 at
Montgomery w/AA Jackson). His career-high is 5 RBI (done 2x: 5/23/14 at Bakersfield w/High Desert and 9/1/14 at Montgomery
w/Jackson).
In his first 3 career starts, RH Misael Siverio is 0-1 with a 1.10 ERA (2 ER, 16.1 IP). He has limited opponents to a .123 (7x57) average,
while walking 4 and striking out 15.
LH James Gillheeney made his first start of the season on April 30 vs. Pensacola after appering in 5 games in relief to start the season.

Lopes (2x4, R, 2B) and LF Aaron Barbosa (2x3, R, BB, SB) each recorded multi-hit games, while ONeill (1x5, 2 RBI), CF Ian Miller (1x3, 2
BB), 3B Jay Baum (1x4, 2B) and 1B Taylor Zeutenhorst (1x3, BB) each recorded 1 of the teams 8 hits. Starter Ryan Yarbrough
(3.2,7,7,7,1,5) recorded the loss, allowing 7 runs on 7 hits in 3.2 innings. RH Emlio Pagan (2.1,2,0,0,1,2) allowed 2 inherited runners to score,

RHP Edwin Diaz has not allowed a run over his last 11.1 innings (2 GS). Marks his longest scoreless inning streak of the season after

RECAP: Starter Daniel Missaki and relievers Kody Kerski and Troy Scott combined to throw the LumberKings 23rd no-hitter franchise
history as Clinton shutout Cedar Rapids 2-0 on Friday night. It was the first combined no-hitter for Clinton since 1996, and the first in club
history to feature more than 2 pitchers. Missaki (7.0,0,0,0,1,7) earned his first win of the season, allowing only 1 walk and striking out 7 in 7.0
no-hit innings. He retired 20 batters in a row, before allowing a 2-out walk to Trey Vavra in the bottom of the 7th inning. Kerski (1.0,0,0,0,0,2)
struck out 2 of 3 batters faced in the 8th inning, while Scott (1.0,0,0,0,1,1) issued 1 walk and struck out 1 to earn his first save of the season.
RH Victor Sanchez (7/17/13 vs. Lansing) and LH Jordan Shipers (7/11/12) were the most recent Mariners farmhands to throw a no-hitter with
the LumberKings. LF Estarlyn Morales (1x4, R, HR, RBI) hit a solo home run to lead off the 5th inning, his 2nd homer of the year, to give the
LumberKings the lead. CF Chantz Mack (2x3, R) led the team with 2 hits, while SS Gianfranco Wawoe (1x4) and 1B Kristian Brito (1x3,
