These release notes are designed to show you the most common new and fixed features in the
Hippotizer Software.
However they are in no way complete and the information contained is being constantly updated.

Known issues:
Mackie Component:
-In order to use the transport controls, jog wheel and record functionality with a timeline,
add a timeline component, create a new timeline within it and select it in the list.
Then stop the Mackie component and start it again. Upon restart the Mackie controller should connect
to the active timeline.
-The attribute reset function will crash the engine. Please do not use this function.
UberPan:
-Does not work with x-fade on layer modes yet.
Presets
- The Transition Logic between presets in X-Fade Mode is not fully correct. We are working on this
now.
New and repaired in this version:

New Features:
- RegionMapper: a 3D mapping tool that allows the user to project 2D media onto 3D structures
using the point and click method
- Presets2: new preset manager component that allows user to create/apply and visualise the presets
with thumbnails
- X-Fade: two new modes will the user to cross fade between two different layer states automatically
- MultiSelect: the user is able to control multiple layers and their parameters all at once
- Mackie Controller: a new component that allows the user to program and operate timelines
efficiently and intuitively through use of pre-existing hardware controllers compatible with the Mackie
Control Universal protocol
- Timecode on layer: This allows the user to set an individual layer to look at a timecode signal for its
media player
-New Layer Options: We have increased the number of Layers on the Grasshopper now to 12 and
added in 6 layer mode to the GrassHopper and HD and also introduced XFade layer options into all
products.
BeatBridge
- Fix: Assigning Attributes to BeatBridge in XFade
- Fix: BeatBridge and Sound Component not resetting
- Fix: Creation of Presets in BeatBridge currently the wrong way around
CITP
Hippotizer 3.2
- Fix: CITP Device name should include host name

- Fix: could not patch CITP as an active fixture using an Avolites Desk
DMX2:
- New: New 3.2 personalities added. Also added personalities for components: Automation,
BeatBridge, PhatController, Uberpan.
- Fix: Repeated clicking of DMX on/off button crashes Engine
- Fix: DMX2 can loose it's settings - without crashing or reporting problems
- Fix: Preset zero and timelines
- Fix: Smart patch doesnt patch a Master Layer
- Fix: DMX2 on Startup doesnt save GUI Settings.
- Fix: DMX Tail causes crash when edit properties window open
- Fix: Smartpatch doesnt work with XFade mode.

- Fix: ZooKeeper: news icons for all remaining components

Engine:
- Fix: Engine: Pan mode not panning one output on Genlock HDs.
- Fix: Engine: Reset of the engine doesnt reset sound component

- Fix: Clear shape stops you adding new shapes in a map.
- Fix: Moving nodes is broken
- Fix: Limit the size of a map so that shapes cannot be bigger than map
- Fix: Cannot create two shapes from each other after copying the shape in the same map
- Fix: Be able to select multiple nodes when editing Live Mask Shapes
- New: Create the ability to move shapes and keep spatial relationship

- Fix: When right clicking in Map a fixture is added.

- Fix: ScreenThief output degrades after stopping and starting
- Fix: When using ScreenThief the output FPS drops for a few seconds
Telnet
- Fix: Read pin not working
- Fix: Telnet Patch not stopping component.
- Fix: removed caps sensitivity in telnet commands
- Fix: first command always failing on specific telnet clients
- New: "get exceptions" command shows if networked hippos have had a crash
Timeline:
- Fix: If Command Jump to Command Stop then continue play, playhead jumps back to previous
jump position
- Fix: Right Click send values to timeline doesnt update the name of timeline
- Fix: Layer ordering wrong in timeline by default
- Fix: Jump to cue does not work in Timeline
- Fix: 'Ungroup Selection' non-functional
