1 The Big Progress and New Abilities

The Shakarus house was really big for a three month old baby like me. I was wearing a peachy dress that had a lot of laces frolicking around me as I crawled around the floor. I became very bored of Queen Psarra and moms history together and decided to look for something interesting in the house. I crawled towards the door. Behind that huge door was a big hallway filled with more doors. I suddenly felt distressed by crawling with my hands just to get there, so, I decided to try walking with my two feet, as to what I have observed other people were doing. As I walked gleefully to that experience, I tripped. I closed my eyes thinking of the pain that would be inflicted to me in my fall but I felt nothing. As I slowly opened my eyes, the hall seemed to change in color. It became red and hairy. I turned right and saw a reflection of me in an odd position. I gazed at the reflection of me and the red hairy hall, which was at my left, in deep thought. Suddenly the door behind me opened. A young boy came out of the room. What are you doing lying on the floor? he asked. I turned around and saw him standing on the red, hairy hall. He waited for a moment for my answer but he became impatient and walked towards me. He took my

weak hand carefully and positioned me on the ground in an upward position. So you cant talk yet but you understand me, right? I nodded friskily. I am Curiss Shakaru. He smiled and pulled me towards the room he was in. Welcome to my room um he was thinking about what my name was but he got nothing. He then let go of my hand and held the floor. After a moment of silence he smiled to me again. Oh! Your name is Neykka! Nnn ieeeka? He giggled as he corrected me. NeykKAaa I laughed at the face he made from correcting me. It was terribly funny. He blushed and laughed along. I was so happy that I jumped from the ground. A sudden silence took over his laughter that made me stopped laughing. I didnt really notice it but I was floating in the air. Wow! You can fly! Niyekaa? I asked stupidly, knowing nothing else to say. Well, I saw your ability of the Ottos and a lot more clashing together. I didnt understand what he said so I ran around joyfully, half floating. He thought that I was mocking him but he eased up a little and tried to catch me. I kept floating around the room until I felt a sudden tug on my foot that scared me a little. Suddenly, I was in another room. Wow. That was awesome! You do have a lot of different abilities. You can already teleport at that age! he shouted excitingly. Twelweport? I asked again nonsense stuff. Close enough he said happily.

A sudden thought came over my mind. I suddenly realized that I was reading his thoughts; he was still holding my foot and I gained access to his thoughts. I thought about his eagerness to teleport to the kitchen and I tried to focus my mind to where the kitchen was located. And then, bam! We were there. Curiss gave a stunning smile of victory to be able to sneak some of the cookies in the kitchen. He took four from the jar and gave me two. We both ate the cookies delightfully. We played around the house teleporting from one place to another I did most of the work. I felt tired. Curiss noticed that right away and then he carried me on his back as he walked towards his room. It was a long walk. I tried to teleport to the room but then he stopped me. Dont bother teleporting anymore. You will get hurt. I obediently followed his words. It didnt take long for him to reach his room. You can sleep in my bed. He offered. I flew to the bed with my hand tugging his shirt. He lay down next to me as I quickly went to sleep. I felt warm and safe. It felt like he was hugging me so that I would not worry about the dark. However, that didnt matter because I already felt safe near him. After a long nap, I felt someone carrying me off the bed. I opened my eyes and saw my mother snuggling me in her arms. Look, she became really tired, Queen Jeviee said with a smile. I think they were having a lot of fun, Queen Psarra said as she carried Curiss in her arms to see what we had been doing. She sighed. I think they would miss each other.

I know Ah! Come back here around October for Curiss first birthday. Thats a good idea. By that time Neykka would be able to have fun with him without getting really exhausted. She giggled. Come on Neykka, say goodbye to Curiss. I looked at Curiss. He just woke up from his nap and gave me a big smile. His thoughts came to me saying that he would really miss me. I felt a little happy. I teleported in front of him and give him a hug. Queen Jeviee was surprised that I could already teleport at my state. She smiled and reached her arms out towards me. Come on lets go home. Daddy will be waiting for you. I teleported back into her arms and smiled at Curiss. We arrived at Plan Otto. Many guards were waiting for our arrival. We were escorted to our house. To my surprise, our house was somewhat bigger than Curiss house. Queen Jeviee carried me towards a big peach colored room. Sweetie, this will be your room. She placed me on the floor. I crawled around my room and it seemed bigger than Curiss room. I guessed our room would be permanent until we would grow old and that is why there was so much space. A year and five months passed. My parents taught me how to talk during those years. I could control my abilities better, not overusing them like before. I missed Curiss first birthday party because I got sick and mom didnt tell me it was his birthday. He went to my first birthday party on February, though they left earlier

because there was a problem back in Shakaru. It was October and it would be Curiss second birthday party. This time we were going to Plan Shakaru for his party and I would not accept missing it. I played around the hallway wearing a cute red dress with lots of ribbons on it. As I waited for Queen Jeviee to finish packing our stuff for the trip going to Plan Shakaru, I saw a man walking with her. A name flashed in my head telling me that he is King Kayneath. I approached him and gave a big bow. Oh! Is this her now? She has grown older than I have expected, King Kayneath said as he observed me. She is a very interesting child, if I may say, Queen Jeviee said she has a lot of unique abilities that I could not imagine it to exist. Is that true now? he said with lots of interest in me. What things can she possibly do? Have you taught her the basics? Yes, I replied. I flew nearer to him. Its amazing! You can already fly! I echoed his thoughts. Silence was his reaction. He was too shocked to even utter a word back to me. Im sorry for her rudeness in reading your thoughts. Queen Jeviee apologized. No, no. Its not that. I was just surprised how she could read my thoughts he took a box filled with earrings from his bag. These are the latest inventions that Plan Telps has developed. Once this is worn, other people cant read your thoughts without permission. He chuckled This brought out the peace and order in our planet. Here you can choose a pair. For free! One of the earrings caught my attention and I immediately teleported it to my hand. It was shaped like a

dragonfly; the body was filled with a red crystalline. Its wings are coated with silver and have three heart-shaped rubies wherein each ruby was surrounded by an emerald jewel. Excellent! You also have a good taste for jewelry and power. He reacted from my decision. Power? Is there seriously some kind of power in this beautiful piece of art? It just looked so pretty. I didnt understand what he was saying until his mind said it all. Well, my good friend, Danieyel Bott, was the one that came up with that idea on having one of the crystals block the frequency in our mind that tends to read other peoples thoughts. This is also for the benefit of our students to cheat less, he smiled at the thought and continued explaining. Therefore, we came up to the idea of placing the crystalline near the head to cloak it from the frequency that Telps use. As you see, the white crystalline has a weak cloaking property; the blue ones are for wide ranged cloaking action, mostly used by the officers. These are limited in power but many in number. That is why people can easily buy that type of crystalline. In the other hand, the green crystalline is usually bought by the upperclassmen in terms of power. This type can be easily controlled by its user, having a strong and wide ranged property but it is limited like the white and blue. It will soon be useless and will be recycled by our scientist. The red crystalline placed in that accessory has an unlimited power. It is used to run the generators and the electricity of the Planduangle for billions of years now. However, the power cant be manipulated by anyone except you, said King Kayneath as he looked at the jewelry in my hand that was easily teleported by me.

Queen Jeviee seemed to understand what King Kayneath told me. She came nearer to me to place the earrings on me. Wow. Look at you darling, she admired me. You look so pretty with it. Do you feel any different? I shook my head and smiled. Is it supposed to hurt my head? I thought in my mind, wanting to ask King Kayneath that question. Amazingly that question reached through his mind This is amazing! You can read minds and communicate using it! King Kayneath was pleased by my abilities. It is like you can talk with someone using your mind, just as the dolphins. Im sorry to disturb but we really have to go Queen Jeviee interrupted as she picked me up.
