Happy Spring!

It is hard to believe that it is already the end of March....in looking out our windows, it's still winter. We've had
several feet of snow in Massachusetts this winter, and we want to 'believe' it's really Spring, but the thermometer and
our eyes tell us differently! We hope it's warmer in your neck of the woods...if so, please send some sunshine this
way! It's also only three months to Pottery Lovers Week! The plans for the week are slowly coming together, the
rooms are filling up, and the excitement is building. We've been going to Zanesville since 1990 and it's such a
pleasure to speak to collectors who plan to come to Zanesville for the first time...they are soooo excited! We trust
you remember your first visit...it's the most fun-filled week of the year for us and we'd stay all month if they let us!

Grill Fest!
Sponsored by Barbara Gerr Antiques, Grill Fest is scheduled for Monday evening, July 6 at around 6:30 PM
at the Holiday Inn Express! For Pottery Lovers in town on Monday night, please feel free to join us for this
relaxed get together for some burgers and dogs, compliments of Pottery Lovers. This will give you an early start
on getting caught up with friends and if we're really lucky the weather will cooperate! Grill Fest will be
conducted by JoAnn Woodall and Paul Woolmer. Thanks guys!
Hospitality Desk
The hospitality desk will be
managed by Alva and Marlene
Richardson as it has been over the
past few years. They will begin
setting up on Monday, with a full
schedule of 'desk duty' beginning on
Tuesday, through to Saturday
evening. If you are interested in
volunteering some desk time while
you're in Zanesville, please email
Marlene and let her know what you
are available to do, and when. It's
not too early! Her email address is
antiqsandthings@aol.com. As you
know, we are all volunteers, so any
time that you can give us benefits
all Pottery Lovers, and it is really
appreciated, thank you!
Paul Woolmer & JoAnn Woodall
Room Sales
Room sales will be held on all floor levels at the Holiday Inn Express (HIE) and a section of rooms at the
Comfort Inn (CI). We expect a full house at the HIE with additional rooms at CI for those guests with furry
friends. The HIE has a no pet policy, no exceptions so plan accordingly. Chris Powell is accepting room

Theme 2015: CREATURES!
This year's theme should be great
fun! We've all got a pot that fits a

so put your best foot, talon, claw or
paw forward! Show and tell will be
celebrated at 6:30 PM, on
Wednesday, July 8, 2015. There
will be cash gift prizes awarded
again this year and remember you
cannot win if you don't participate.
The Ice Cream Social by Toms
Ice Cream was a deliciously sweet
success and will be repeated this
year. We expect it will be an
absolute delight!

Pottery Lovers Auction
Belhorn Auctions will conduct the Pottery Lovers auction this year at the Welcome Center downtown, which is
a hop, skip and a jump from the hotels. Peter Gehres, our volunteer Auctioneer has been busy working to collect
pots for the auction already. As always, we encourage all Pottery Lovers to consign and/or donate pots to the
auction. Larry Jewart's donation in Nancy Jewart's Memory was a great gift last year, the proceeds of which
benefit all Pottery Lovers at Pottery Week...thanks Larry! Your contributions support Pottery Lovers events,
and donations are tax-deductible! If you have pots for the auction call Peter Gehres at (614)921-9441 today!
Pottery Lovers Show & Sale
The Pottery Lovers show and sale will be
held on Friday and Saturday, July 10th
and 11th, 2015 at the HIE, in the banquet
room on the first floor. Jerry Kline is the
show manager, so if you are interested in
doing the show please contact Jerry. His
email is artpotterynants@bellsouth.net.
Jerry says Its not too early to be
thinking about participating in either or
both the room sales or the Friday and
Saturday show. The show this past year
was a huge success and most of the
dealers are planning on returning.

In Memoriam:
The pottery world has lost a shining star this winter.
Rose Cabat a life-long artist, and designer of the ever popular 'Cabat Feelies' passed away this winter at the ripe
old age of 100. Her delightful mid-century modern pots, each a treasure, will continue to bring pleasure to
collectors of her 'Feelies' for many years to come. We mourn her passing, and extend our deepest condolences to
her family, and her extended pottery family.
