Providing 3rd Level Support for Exchange server 2000 & 2003 for customers across
the globe.
The day-to-day work was a mixture of direct customer support working with
Remedy/OVSD/Clarify ticketing system, providing third line remote support
for Windows and Exchange 2000/2003.
Escalated Incident Management, Problem management, Capacity
management, Performance management and Change management.
Providing On call support at off business hour.
Managing and troubleshooting Incident and Service calls and resolving the
issues within the agreed SLA.
Monitoring servers for performance, mail flow, backups, log files and
troubleshooting related issues.
Maintaining and troubleshooting Symantec Enterprise Vault Archiving
Solution for Exchange server.
Data protector, Symantec Veritas, and Microsoft NT Backup and Recovery.
Managing Blackberry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange.
Performing periodic maintenance like patch installation, mailbox movement,
backup & restore and implementing change requests.
Managing and troubleshooting Exchange Clusters.
Coordinating with Hardware, Network team and vendors for respective
problems in the Environment.
