Tournament Rules
Armies must include a minimum of 25% of their points in Core units.
Armies may include up to 2 Special units. They cannot exceed 50% of your total points.
Armies may include up to 1 Rare unit. It cannot exceed 25% of your total points.
Armies may include 0-2 Hero-level characters. They cannot exceed 25% of your total points.
Armies cannot include Lord-level characters, Battle Standard Bearers or Special Characters.
Armies may take 0-1 Level 1 Wizard as a hero and if chosen they may only use the signature
spell from their chosen lore (If no signature spells are available then use the default #1 spell)
Armies must include a hero or unit champion as a general. If a unit champion is selected, he
must remain with his unit but functions as the general in all other respects.
Only 50 points or less magic items, daemon or chaos gifts, vampire powers and other upgrades
are allowed.
Armies may not include units of models with more than 4 wounds each. Count characters and
their mounts or chariots separate from each other for purposes of this restriction.
No more than 50% of your units can be shooting units, excluding Hero-level characters.
Minimum Unit sizes are smaller than standard armies to reflect the scale and tactical flexibility
of a warband.
5+ models is now 3+ models
10+ models is now 5+ models
20+ models is now 10+ models
A unit cannot take any upgrade options aside from weapons or armor, unless it meets the
standard minimum unit size in its list. Once at standard minimum unit size, the unit can take
command, magic banners and other upgrades. The exception is units with Standard Minimum
Unit Size of 20+, they can take these upgrades at 10+ models.
