It is proposed that the music video will be approximately 2 minutes and 45

seconds duration, filmed in a nearby street, in one of our artists house and in
front of a green-screen.
The music video will be aimed at people who are interested in dance, rap and
classical music. The target audience will be 16- 34 year olds as the range of
genres fit this age bracket.

The music video will show the two artists in various situations that will cause
them difficulty. This will be portrayed by a range of shot types, for instance close
ups.

Several locations have been visited and a shortlist has been drawn up:
Suggested locations are:
A green-screen
A nearby street
One of our artists house (bedroom, front room)

The music video will include the following:

a) Extreme close ups- these will show the different emotions and feelings
that the performers will be trying to put across to the audience.
b) Cutaways- this type of shot will be used to add different pieces of detail to
the music video. Various pieces of clothing such as shoes, trousers and a
shirt will be shown through the use of cutaways.
c)

Close-ups- this type of shot will be used to allow the audience to see the
performers lip-syncing.

d) Long Shots- this will also show the lip-syncing but it will show the
surroundings as well. This can give the audience an understanding of the
environment that they are in and different meanings could come across
from the different backgrounds. This shot type will be the best type of shot
to show the interaction and relationship between the two artists.
These sequences will link together through transitions but this will become
evident once the editing process is underway.

Structure (Initial Ideas)

The music video will be in colour and in PAL 4:3.
The music video will start with one of the artists waking up and grabbing pieces
of clothing before exiting their house.
It will then cut to a long shot of the other artist and then the lip-synching will
begin.
The majority of the shots at the beginning of the music video will be in the street.
As the music video progresses, the cutting of the music video will be faster and
frequent but it will be long enough so the audience can make out what the artists
are saying.
The house scene will be involved throughout, as it will be integrated within the
music video.

Total production budget
All the equipment intended to be used will be hired from a website on the
Internet called Hire a Camera. In terms of the editing software, this will be
available at our production building.

Schedule
The production will be produced within the timescale that will be indicated by our
shooting and editing schedules. Attack Promo will ensure that all location filming
is carefully planned to take into account the safety of the crew and the general
public and any production contingencies. The finished Attack Promo will be
available for viewing at an appropriate time in order for any changes to be made
before the suggested release date.

Sources of requirements
I will get the majority of my equipment from our company building but I may
need to hire some equipment such as a camera. For the tennis racquets and
tennis balls, these will have to be brought from a local sports shop. The artists
will supply the costumes, as it will be their own clothes. The artists within the
music video are close friends so it was easy to recruit them. Also the locations
are open spaced so I do not need to hire out the places. However, I will need
permission to film parts of the music video from the homeowner of the artists
house.

Guarantee of Satisfaction

Initial discussion on the music video content will take place.

Production equipment will be used in a safe operational manner at all

times.

Attack Promo is covered by Public Liability Insurance to the sum of

1,000,000.

A copy of all rushes (camera original material) will be supplied on

request in DVD format.

A rough cut (initial trial edit) version of the music video will be supplied
for inspection and discussion.

A meeting to discuss the final master version will be organised with a

focus group of interested parties.

The completed music video will be provided on DVD for inspection.

The completed music video will not be released until the client is
completely satisfied with technical quality and content.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) would classify this music video as
a PG. This is because the music video will be suitable for all audiences and there
are not any threats, violence or sexual images and so this rating is a fair
representation of the music video.
