D. Real-Time Rendering
Like photorealistic rendering, real-time rendering is a part
of the field of computer graphics. While photorealistic
rendering deals with the appearance of the generated images,
real-time rendering mainly focuses on creating those images
fast enough to keep the viewer immersed in the scene. To
achieve this goal, the images must be created at a rate that does
not permit the viewer to distinguish individual frames.
This requirement imposes a natural limit on the quality of
the generated images. In many cases, a trade-off must be found
between the visual acuity of the images and the speed at which
the images can be generated (rendered) [22].
