1. Motivation: Narrate a story about a news report in the television of a fire cause by
a leaking LPG tank.
2. Presentation: Fuels have stored energy. Energy released should be controlled and
regulated because it can cause damage to properties and lives. There should be
safety precautions in using fuels and emergency rules in case of fire. What are
those?
3. Activity/Discussion
a. Share ideas with your group mates about safety/emergency rules in case of fire.
b. Write down your inputs in your notebook.
c. Report your answers in class.

Safety/Emergency Rules in Case of Fire (Fire Safety Rules)

Dont hide, go outside.
Know your local emergency number.
Have an escape plan and practice it with your family.
To escape, fall and crawl. It is easier to breathe in a fire if you stay low while
getting out.
5. If your clothes are on fire, stop, drop and roll until the fire is out. Shout for
help but dont run. Running makes fire burn faster.
