Bread and Wine

Matthew 13:34,35 “All these things spake Yeshua unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That
it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been
kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

Mark 4:33,34 “And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear [it]. But without a parable spake
he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.”

He reveals these things unto His servants. Those eating a piece of bread (etc.) – it’s not profiting them.

Mark 14:22-24 “And as they did eat, Yeshua took bread, and blessed, and brake [it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my
body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is
my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.”

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 “For I have received of Adonai that which also I delivered unto you, That Adonai Yeshua the [same] night in
which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken
for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup,
ye do shew Adonai's death till he come.”

2 Corinthians 4:10 “Always bearing about in the body the dying of Adonai Yeshua, that the life also of Yeshua might be made manifest
in our body.”
vs 8,9 “[We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast
down, but not destroyed;”
Always bearing about in the body the dying of Yeshua.*
1 Corinthians 15:31 “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Mashiyach Yeshua Adoneynu, I die daily.”
I die daily – dying daily to ourselves; taking on His ways

John 6:53 “Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood,
ye have no life in you.”
It is something that gives life, quickens. (eating His flesh: keeping His Word)
John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father,) full of grace and truth.”
He was the Word made flesh.
John 6:54 “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

“If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17

John 6:56 “He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.”

1 John 3:24 “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the
Spirit which he hath given us.”
By keeping His commandments we dwell in Him, and He in us.

1 John 2:5,6 “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of Elohiym perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that
saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
Walking as He walked, keeping His ways.
✱ This is what avails, gives life.

John 6:53,54 “Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his
blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are
life.”
This is what we are to be partaking of (He makes it clear what He is talking about).

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahveh. (Matthew 4:4)

His Word – His Spirit is what gives life.

Hebrews 9:12-22 “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption [for us]. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Mashiyach, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself
without spot to Elohiym, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohiym? And for this cause he is the mediator of
the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which
are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of
the testator. For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon
neither the first [testament] was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the
law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the
people, Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which Elohiym hath enjoined unto you. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the
tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood
is no remission.”
Having faith in His blood. How we enter into the New Testament: believing in the power of His blood. We need to “cash in” on this.
It was through the blood of Yeshua that the New Covenant came in.

Hebrews 10:15-22 “[Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This [is] the covenant that I
will make with them after those days, saith Adonai, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their
sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin. Having therefore,
brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yeshua, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us,
through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And [having] an high priest over the house of Elohiym; Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Things the blood makes possible – forgiveness of sins, ending separation between man and Elohiym, so we can have communion with
Elohiym. – Can receive the Holy Ghost, partake of the divine nature, perfection.

The Cup

(the cup): generally means partaking of something

Matthew 26:39 “And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass
from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].”
not a pleasant thing

Matthew 20:22 “But Yeshua answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to
be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.”

Bread
Psalm 127:2 “[It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.”

Proverb 4:17 “For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.”

Proverb 9:1-5 “Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her
wine; she hath also furnished her table. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city, Whoso [is]
simple, let him turn in hither: [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine
[which] I have mingled.”
Wisdom has a table we are to partake of.
(“The kingdom of El is not meat and drink.” Romans 14:17)

There are things that El has ordained for us to partake of.

Proverb 20:17 “Bread of deceit [is] sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.”

John 6:31-35 “Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Yeshua said
unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from
heaven. For the bread of Elohiym is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him,
Adonai, evermore give us this bread. And Yeshua said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and
he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
Coming to Him; believing in Him, His teachings – This is what we are to partake of.

Matthew 16:5-12 “And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Yeshua said unto them,
Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, [It is]
because we have taken no bread. [Which] when Yeshua perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among
yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and
how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? How is it that ye do
not understand that I spake [it] not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the
Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade [them] not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and
of the Sadducees.”
Not supposed to take in the doctrine of those who are not serving El.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8 “Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the
old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiyach our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us
keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and
truth.”
This is the bread we’re supposed to be partaking of – His Word. This is what really quickens us and gives us life. Purge out
hypocrisy, malice, wickedness – not have any of it in our life.

John 6:33-35 “For the bread of Elohiym is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto
him, Adonai, evermore give us this bread. And Yeshua said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;
and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
Coming to Him, believing Him, obeying Him.

John 6:47-56 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat
manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I
am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is
my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us
[his] flesh to eat? Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his
blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in
him.”
vs 54 – the way to partake of eternal life – believe His Word and obey His teachings.
“the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11): partaking of His sufferings and His wayseternal life. Through faith in His
blood—forgiveness of sins, partake of the divine nature.

Luke 22:11-20 “And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I
shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. And they went, and
found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve
apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I
will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of Elohiym. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this,
and divide [it] among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of Elohiym shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in
remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”
This was Passover.

Exodus 12:5-7 “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats:
And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in
the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein
they shall eat it.”
all of Israel supposed to partake of this. This is the shadow. – Yeshua is the lamb without blemish, spot.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8 “Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the
old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiyach our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us
keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and
truth.”
During Passover, not supposed to eat any leaven – They were to put it out of their houses. (Exodus 12:14-20) Mashiyach was the
fulfillment of this: We don’t just have the shadow.

1 Corinthians 5:7 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiyach our
passover is sacrificed for us:”
El’s people – a lump of bread.

1 Corinthians 10:17 “For we [being] many are one bread, [and] one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.”
“We”: the people of Elohiym. – Those partaking of Mashiyach’s Word in sincerity and truth; partaking of His life and blood.
In Judges (ch 7:13,14), the people of El are likened unto a loaf of barley bread.
Partaking of His Body
1 Corinthians 11:17-34 “Now in this that I declare [unto you] I praise [you] not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the
worse. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For
there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. When ye come together
therefore into one place, [this] is not to eat Adonai's supper. For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is
hungry, and another is drunken. What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of Elohiym, and shame
them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not. For I have received of Adonai that which
also I delivered unto you, That ha Adon Yeshua the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks,
he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also
[he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in
remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew Adonai's death till he come. Wherefore
whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of Adonai, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of Adonai. But let a
man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth
and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning Adonai's body. For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many
sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of Adoani, that we should
not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man
hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.”
Souls not working for unity partaking of the body in an unworthy way.
vs 29 not quickened: “not discerning the Adon’s body.” The Adon’s body is the people. We are to partake of His body worthily.
Some feed themselves without fear. (Jude 1:12)

Ephesians 4:1-3 “I therefore, the prisoner of Adonai, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With
all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the
bond of peace.”
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit. – lowliness, meekness, longsuffering.

1 Corinthians 11 – Pride.
Those walking in lowliness – unity. Those walking in pride – will be bringing in heresies, divisions. – Bad judgment, partaking of
body unworthily – Eating and drinking damnation to oneself, not discerning the Adon’s body.

Communion is Fellowship
2 Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

1 Corinthians 10:16,17 “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Mashiyach? The bread which we
break, is it not the communion of the body of Mashiyach? For we [being] many are one bread, [and] one body: for we are all
partakers of that one bread.”
Communion with Elohiym: partaking of His Word, His blood, His body.

1 John 1:6,7 “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the
light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua ha Mashiyach his Son cleanseth us from all
sin.”
If someone’s “communion with Elohiym” is eating a piece of cracker, etc., they are missing a lot.

1 John 1:3 “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Yeshua ha Mashiyach.”
This is what we want to fellowship around – not around things of the world – not feeding selves without fear.

2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of Adonai Yeshua ha Mashiyach, and the love of Elohiym, and the communion of the Holy Ghost,
[be] with you all. Amen.”
We can commune with El’s Spirit.

Genesis 18:33 “And Yahveh went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.”
A blessed place to press into. – if we can really strive for that, seek for that.

Luke 5:17 “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by,
which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of ha Adon was [present] to heal them.”
The power of ha Adon was present to heal them. We can get into His presence. – There really is a lot of strength there.
*that the life also of Yeshua might be made manifest in our body.
