Jul 25th, 2014

Speed and time taken by both the birds are same, so distance(d) will be definitely the same.
Let the distance between A and grain be x. By Pythagoras theorem, d^2= 200^2 + x^2 and
d^2= 150^2 + (250-x)^2. Solving these, we get x=90 Ft.

smaller ball has the radius R.
bigger ball has the radius 8R.
if smaller ball travel distance=16R(as it makes 16 rev per sec),the bigger one has to
make(8R+8R=16R).
therefore, the bigger one has to travel twice its own radius,so the answer is 2 rev/sec.
