Acquired by Seattle June 3, 2015 with Mark Trumbo in exchange
for Welington Castillo, Dominic Leone & 2 minor leaguers.
Native of National City, CA, where he attended Sweetwater HS.
Originally drafted by Cleveland in the 48th round of the 2009
MLB Draft (#1,445 Overall).
Pitched 4 seasons at Baker University, an NAIA school in Baldwin City, KSis 1st Baker U player to be drafted and 2nd to
