PERSONNEL ANNOUNCEMENT

Megan Thie, Director of Advancement Services, has accepted a new position with her high school alma
mater, Cathedral High School as Director of the Cathedral Fund. In her role she will oversee all annual
fund efforts, as well as the organizations research and database staff. Megans last day will be
September 5th. We thank Megan for her contributions to the Foundation and wish her well in her new
position.
Holly St. John, Administrative Assistant & Event Coordinator, has announced her intentions to resign on
September 16th and move to New York City to pursue her dream career in theatre, very much in line
with her undergraduate degree and her personal interests. While Hollys time with us has been short,
her presence has added mightily to our staff and we wish her the very best.
As we realign our staff responsibilities, Jessika Devine will stepping into an increased role managing and
supporting the advancement team. She will be increasing her presence on the road meeting face to face
with brothers and will also be helping with overall strategy, donor visit logistics and solicitation
management for Ben Nicol, Lee Fuller and Ben Hecke. This position is designed to increase the efficiency
and effectiveness of our advancement efforts. Jessika will also continue to manage the Phi Psi TeleFund.
Stephanie Miller, Director of Marketing & Grants, will be taking on more direct donor interactions in her
role, along with her continued strategic execution of the Foundations communication efforts.
Cara Augspurger has joined the Foundation team part-time as our Scholarship & Fellowship Coordinator.
This new role allows for increased attention to our scholarship and fellowship programs. Cara has over
18 years of experience in board management, fundraising, development and alumni relations working in
both the university and fraternal communities. Most recently she served as the Senior Director of
Development for the Alpha Sigma Phi Foundation.
Kim McDonald has joined the Foundation team part-time as our Events & Facility Coordinator. In this
new role, all Laurel Hall events and operations will be overseen by one individual. Kim comes to the
Foundation with an extensive background in senior and assisted living community management, sales
and programming.
We are seeking a full-time person to serve the team in an administrative and reporting capacity as the
Director of Advancement Services. This position is currently posted externally and we are seeking
candidates. More information is available on the Foundations website.
Finally, we continue to work with the Laramie Group in our search for a Chief Advancement Officer. The
Chief Advancement Officer will be responsible for achievement of the Foundations fundraising goals
and for help in fostering the giving culture of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity alumni. Interested individuals can
