The activity started having only 1/3 SAs present at 8:15 in the morning.

It
was held at Computer Laboratory 7 and to formally open the program, Ivan James
Cardenas led the prayer. This was followed by an ice breaker to awaken the
participants mind and energy called the Laughing Game. It was a game wherein a
person will say Haha Hoho or Hehe without laughing; the one who laugh will
be eliminated until only one left. The first game went successful because everyone
was lively and they enjoyed it.
After the game, engr. Romeo Kwan, Jr. presented the organizational chart of
Information Technology Center of Adamson University. He introduced each staff and
head of every section. He also let know something about him and let us ask
anything that we wanted to know about him. But of course, we cant go on for the
whole day activity without knowing something about the participants also, mainly
that we have new SAs. So then our next activity was a getting-to-know activity
entitled as Take what you need. There will be rolls of tissue to be passed. Each
must get as much as they think theyll need. Afterwards, theyll count how many
box of tissue theyre holding and that will be the number of facts theyll tell about
their selves. The activity took so long because everyone did able to say something
thats unusual about their selves without any hesitations.
As we finished the getting-to-know activity, we then started the highlight of
this event which is the orientation part in a way that is different from the usual
orientation. We let the assigned SA: Lesterson Ramos, Ivan James Cardenas and
Joanna Rose Vasquez act the wrong and right traits as a student assistant especially
the dos and donts in the laboratory and office. We finished two scenes in the
morning and by 11:00 AM, we leave the laboratory to have our lunch in Mang Inasal
at SM city Manila.
The afternoon session began at exactly 1:30 PM. Before we continue the skit
that was started in the morning, we first have a simple game to energize them. The
game was called Concentration that will test their memories. They were grouped
into two groups given both groups 1 minute to change something in their physical
appearance while the other group is facing the other side. The group who notice
more changes will be declared winner and in this instant, the group 2 won.
Subsequently, we continue the presentation of the skit with the additional actors:
Romeo Christian Belino and Russel Monteroso. It was later followed by the
discussion proper of the traits led by Marc Jefferson Tabujara and others
participation. After was another game called Nose Dive and Defying Gravity
wherein the 2nd group won again in both game. And to finally end up the day, we
started planning for the next activity that is said to be the sports fest to happen on
the semestral break without any particular date yet while eating our snacks.
