If application is cancelled by applicant 30 days prior to training date, no cancellation charge will apply

PRACTICAL WELDING
The main processes are: MMA, MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG and Gas Welding. 40 Hours shall be reserved to broaden the students skills in other
relevant materials within his/her welders qualification/s. A further 20 hours shall be reserved to give the student basic understanding of
the possibilities and limitations of the other processes. This training shall end with a practical examination in more than one process or

With increasing operating stresses and temperatures, use of new materials, etc., engineers are finding it increasingly difficult to contain maintenance
and fabrication costs due to their lack of knowledge of welding technology and related sciences.
With increased knowledge of the above, it has been proven that substantial cost savings are possible. Personnel in senior positions have difficulty in

Appropriate health as well as physical and mental capability is required to enter at Fillet Welder level. Access to higher levels is allowed upon passing of relevant theoretical examinations and demonstration of
required practical skill.

Recommended duration is based on average time required to attain the expected level of knowledge. This may vary depending on the capability of the student. The practical simulated training will bring the candidate to the comprehensive skill level required by industry, but it is advised that candidates undergo an equivalent duration of industrial welding experience prior to attempting the code certification test.
Assessment of Training
Demonstrating the required level of skill in accordance with ASME section IX or ISO EN 287-1 and passing the required theoretical examination.
