The project is located in one of the newly urbanized parts of the seaside city of Batumi,
Georgia. It includes fuels station, McDonald's, recreational spaces and reflective
pool. Given the central location and therefore importance of the site, it was decided to
give back as much area as possible for recreation to the city by limiting the footprint of
the building and vehicular circulation. This resulted in one volume with all programs
compressed within.Spaces are composed in such way, that two major programs vehicle services and dining are isolated from one another, both physically and visually
so that all operations of fuel station are hidden from the view of the customers of the

The filling station is having other amenities like a dhabha, cafe coffee day
restaurant, bakery shop, atm facility and rest rooms.
These are positioned at the rear side of the filling station, where its been
specificaly zoned at a non-vehicular part.
As 2 different filling points are there, only those who are using the rear-side
one are directed to travel around these facilities
Even the office space located in the middle actually hides these to a certain
limit.
The position of the office space away from the frontyard of these amenities
would have been better
The architecture of the building is also not that catching to guide the
passengers to come and use them. Shops like cafe coffee day actually lacks
some major commercial adds..!
Linear arrangement of these are quite nicer since small parking spaces are
available just in the front and all these facilities are present at a very single
point.
Atm services are spotted at the easily visible point while driving and the rest
rooms are spotted hiddenly.
Another best part is that, the design evolved with a small verandah at front
where it connects all the amenities & even provides external seating spaces
for them
Meeting the services for these are cleverly executed by putting all such
things at the rear side
By doing so, all the required services for the entire amenity centre is thus
coming at the rearside. Filling tanks, services to the shops, and the electrical
services all comes in a single stretch
The design of the stretch is with equal priority for all these facilities though
the dhabha takes up a greater area.
The dbhabha also intentionally designed to open out with exterior by having
a circular wall and long windows with the outside.
The design of the office space is placed not at the best spot but is placed with
a solution to reduce the link between the 2 filling points with the managing
section
Now both are almost equally zoned and controlled by this central section
where the circular completely transparent office room are with the direct link
with the exterior
It is intentionally done to have a greater attachement with the filling points
and for better alertness on its functionality
