TRADITIONAL CAMP

The Y is the nations leading nonprofit committed to

strengthening communities through youth development,
healthy living and social responsibility.

Traditional Camp
Kids enjoy awesome arts and crafts projects, weekly field
trips, outdoor games and cooking projects. Holiday Break
Camp helps your child stay physically active, develop
friendships, and engage in a variety of activities that
promote character development.

HOW WE DO IT
We integrate our four core values of caring, honesty,
respect and responsibility in everything we do. We create
extraordinary memories through providing opportunities
to engage in new, fun and enriching experiences. At the Y,
we help kids develop new skills and interests, interact in
positive ways, and engage in healthy lifestyles while being
mentored by adult role models.

individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires
a child, and when a community comes together for the

Holiday Baking & Crafts

Campers can explore their creativity through basic Holiday
artwork and baking designing skills. Discover the art of
measuring, sifting, whisking, grating, and rolling, as your
young chef prepares holiday muffins, scones, biscuits,
and pies. Your child will learn baking, decorating, drawing,
painting, and enjoy traditional camp activities such as
holiday games and songs
Fieldtrip: Christmas in the Park
Clone Wars
Explore through the highs and lows of the complete
Star Wars Saga. Come as a Padawan, and leave a Jedi
Knight. In this camp, advanced Jedi mental and physical
challenges will develop the force within you. Then use
your knowledge of the Clone Wars to develop and star in
a movie.
Fieldtrip: Tech museum to visit the Star Wars exhibit.

7:30 am 1:30 pm (half day)

DROP-OFF AND PICK UP

A parent or guardian must personally sign-in each child
between 7:309:00 am, and sign-out each child between
4:306:00 pm each day. On Field trip days, all children
must be at the center before 9:00 am and you may pick
them up after 4:30 pm. There is a $1.00 a minute charge
for any one picked up after 6:00 pm. An additional
Healthy History form will need to be completed on the
first day of camp.
