DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION/ ADAPTATIONS/ INTERVENTIONS
The visual presentation in PowerPoint provides UDL and adapts to visual learners, since
it primarily uses pictures to convey meaning.
Auditory learning will be provided simply by explaining things to the students, such as
things that must be inferred by looking at a picture, and is not explicitly presented.
Hands on learners will be able to use the word search to see some of the main words
from the PowerPoint.

POST-TEACHING
Reflections
I am not an Elementary School major, but I really enjoyed my time at Mary C. Snow
Elementary this week. I co-taught with Brett Dodrill for 4 lesson and taught 1 lesson on
my own. Teaching elementary school is completely different than secondary and it was a
huge adjustment. In elementary school, they ask a lot of questions. Secondary students
usually do not do that. But I really loved that they wanted to know more information and
that they were excited to learn what we were presenting to them. Teaching five different
classes over five days, I got to see how the different class were managed and how the
students acted. Some classes were better than others but overall, all the students acted
very well and we had no problems out of them. Elementary is not my thing, but I would
go back and maybe substitute or teach a lesson or two again.
I think having the experience in an elementary school will help me with my secondary
students because I want to try and take the love of learning the younger students had
and instill that in my older students.
