Title: ReStore Social Media Intern

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The ReStore Social Media Intern will have the opportunity to work with Habitat for
Humanity of Metro Denvers ReStores to help manage social media for the
organizations retail operations. This person must demonstrate organizational skills,
strong writing skills, oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, knowledge
and experience in social media including facebook, instagram and twitter, and an interest
in learning about Habitat for Humanitys mission and program. This is an unpaid
internship, but Habitat for Humanity will take any necessary steps with the educational
institution in order to acquire college credit as compensation for the internship.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media
Develop regular updates and posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Develop articles and content for the Habitat ReStore e-newsletter
Monitor content and requests on Habitats social media sites
Work with ReStore staff to help scale our social media and website presence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Well organized and detail oriented
Strong writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience in social media sites including facebook, instagram
and twitter
