Music Video Proposal

Band & Track Name: horrors - honeymoon homicide
Running Time: 2minutes 50seconds
General style of music video:
(Relate here the ideas of Goodwin, Gow, Lynch, Railton & Watson)
Handmade style.
Goodwin:
- relationship between the lyrics and visuals illustrating the ideas in the music
(depressing song, depressed actor and feeling as well as imagery)
- style and iconography for antilock music - handmade, messy and cool aura
around the actor. No dancing or lip synching, to be edgy and challenge
conventions.
- close ups of vocalist for record company demand
- own star iconography - wearing a hat and glasses
- intertextual referencing to Bob Dylan, the Mouldy Peaches and Kimya Dawson
Lynch:
- concept video: telling of time passing
- non-linear/fragmented narrative
Gow:
- anti-performance piece

Film effects - light leaks, grain and noise to give a neo-nostalgic feeling
