SATURDAY: Isaiah 6:1-8 How to worship

REFLECTION: These verses of Isaiah offer a pattern for worshipa call to
worship, words of praise, a confession of sin, Gods assurance and pardon,
hearing Gods word and call, our response and being sent into the world.
JOURNAL: How do you fully worship God? What is your pattern of worship?

FRIDAY: Isaiah 6:2-3 The Holy One

REFLECTION: Where do you see Gods glory in the world? Where have you
seen God at work today?
SONG: Sing or read UMH NO. 64 Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty
(video) and celebrate the wonder and awe of God.

THURSDAY: Isaiah 6:9-13 Get an understanding

REFLECTION: God tells Isaiah to tell the people that there are things they see
and hear but dont understand. God can heal and mend if the people are willing.
PRAYER: God, help me to see, hear and comprehend the things you need
me to be aware of, so that I can more fully see your vision for your people.

WEDNESDAY: 1 John 3:17-19 Showing Gods love

REFLECTION: With Gods abiding love in us, we share that love by extending
it to others. How do you love one another in truth and action?
SONG: Sing or read UMH NO. 408 The Gift of Love and reflect on what it
means to have every action or gift guided by love.

TUESDAY: Deuteronomy 10:12-19 Love and serve

REFLECTION: God does not ask much from us, but God does ask us to love.
Our relationship with God allows us to walk with God, to love God and to
serve God. Deuteronomy tells us that from that place of love, God calls us
to show love to those who are vulnerable.
ACTION: List the names of those you know who are vulnerable and in need
of a sign of Gods presence. Do a kind act for at least one that shows them
a sign of love.

MONDAY: Psalm 139 Searched and known

REFLECTION: A relationship begins with being known by another. The
Psalmist reminds us that God searches and knows you, that God has shaped
you since before your birth and that God is with us always.
JOURNAL: Take a moment to reflect on times when you have been mindful
of Gods presence with you. How have those moments deepened your
relationship with God?

He said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and
with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first
commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.

Nov. 22: Open Door Movie Night

Open Door Ministry is hosting an afternoon at the movies on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2

p.m. as we watch for the BIBLE tells me so, a film by Daniel Karslake.
This multi-award-winning film is a provocative, entertaining documentary that
brilliantly reconciles homosexuality and Biblical scripture, and in the process
reveals that Church-sanctioned anti-gay bias is based almost solely upon a
significant (and often malicious) misinterpretation of the Bible. Please let us know
that you will be joining us at 573-443-3111 or email jo@moumc.org. Childcare
available by reservation.

Nov. 19-20: A Night at the
