Upon arrival of Tokyo Narita International Airport,


please proceed to the hotel via airport shuttle
(Please confirm your hotel accommodation with
your travel agent 5 days before departure).

Tokyo Kamakura

After breakfast we begin our Japanese tour. We


first come to Kamakura and visit the Tokyo Bay
Aqua-Line, a bridgetunnel combination across
Tokyo Bay in Japan. The road opened on
December 18, 1997 after 23 years of planning and
9 years of construction at a cost of 1.44 trillion yen!
Later we go to Hachiman Shrine where
Japanese worship their God of War. The Great
Buddha in Ktoku-in is the symbol of Kamakura.
The bronze statue probably dates from 1252, in
the Kamakura period, according to temple records.

the gently closed eyes offer a prayer for the
repose of the bomb victims' souls. Then we head
to the Worlds famous Mt. Fuji 5th Station at your
own expenses. The mountain has been selected
as a cultural rather than a natural heritage site.
As per UNESCO, Mount Fuji has inspired artists
and poets and been the object of pilgrimage for
centuries. 5th Station is a great place for viewing

Tokyo

After breakfast, we first head to the Imperial


Palace of Tokyo the residence of the royal family
and visit the double bridge (Nijubashi) over the
moat. The bridge is a symbol of the Palace.
Afterwards we go to the Tokyo Skytree. With a
height of 634 metres, it is a broadcasting,

restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida. And


then we proceed to Senso-ji, an ancient Buddhist
temple. It is Tokyos oldest temple, and one of its
most significant. The Nakamise-dori is a street on
the approach to the temple, which housing many
traditional shops for souvenirs. Meiji Shrine was
built in dedication to Emperor Meiji and Empress
Shoken. The original shrine was destroyed during
World War II; the current one was re-built in 1958.
This area is covered by an evergreen forest that
consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species,
which were donated by people from all parts of
Japan when the shrine was established. Later we
proceed to the duty free, jewelry shop and Odaiba
for some shopping time and return to the hotel for

Kamakura Hakone Tokyo

After breakfast we proceed to Hakone a


UNESCO designated Geopark. Famous for its hot
spring and the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, you will
be stunned by all natural beauty of Hakone. We
shall also enjoy a cruise journey on Lake Ashi
before heading to Nagasaki Peace Park
established in 1955, commemorating the atomic
bombing of the city on August 9, 1945 during
World War II. At the park's north end is the 10meter-tall Peace Statue created by sculptor Seibo
Kitamura of Nagasaki Prefecture. The statue's
right hand points to the threat of nuclear weapons
while the extended left hand symbolizes eternal
