Landlord Name Here,

Yesterday morning (October 29, 2015) around 5:00am three cars, parked in our
secured and locked garage, were broken into in and property was stolen. Upon filing
the police reports the tenants and I noticed there are no cameras on our rented
property.
I urge you to install cameras for the safety of your tenants. I am a woman and often
come home late, 11pm-3am, after bartending. After this incident I do not feel safe in
my own home, a feeling that is both unsettling and discomforting. I have expressed
this concern to my neighbors only to have it echoed from those both with and
without young children.
Given our location, with a liquor store and gas station on both corners of our
intersection open late or 24/7, I feel the tenants of 5531 Kester are concerned of
their patrons effect on our property and personal safety.
Installing cameras is inexpensive, quick, and now becoming the norm. Furthermore,
the installation of cameras would ensure that you as a landlord are doing your due
diligence to insure your tenants safety if a lawsuit were to ever arise.
Because of these recent acts of vandalism and theft I ask for security
cameras to be installed in the garage and along the perimeter of the
building by November 15th, before crime rates dramatically increase
during the holiday season.
I appreciate your consideration and concern for the safety of your tenants.
Warmest Regards,
Tenants Name
