World Building Guide. Part 1

The document is a blog post about world building for Dungeon Masters. It discusses how truly creating a world involves far more than just drawing a map - it requires developing the world's geography, ecology, cultures, governments, and ensuring it feels like a living, breathing place. The author recommends either using an existing published world or being prepared to do extensive research and ongoing work to build a believable self-created world. The post provides tips for DMs starting to build their own world, such as studying real world maps, history, and published fantasy worlds for inspiration and understanding regions' development.
