Walter White the Worst? [Radio series episode]. (2013, September 27).

In Is Walter White One

of TVs worst. BBC.
Walter White is a phenomenal man with a phenomenal set of characteristics. He is truly a
character that people cant seem to take their eyes off of. BBC News even said that Like Tony
Soprano, the New Jersey mob boss, or Frank Underwood, the political schemer in Netflix's
recent remake of House of Cards, we are drawn into the character first by his simple sympathy
and appeal. . Everyone knows what he does is wrong but the sheer innocence of him comes
out in episodes and so nobody wants to hate him for that like BBC also said He sums up a
certain early 21st Century experience to which all too many can relate. . He is always on
everybodys topic of discussion More than perhaps any of these other "bad men", Walt's
transformation from meek chemistry teacher to murderous drug kingpin has provoked watercooler discussions, blogs, passionate articles and forum discussions online.

Walter White is always considered evil but really he was a nerd turned bad when financial
struggles caved in upon him. All the while, Walters wife, Skylar, is nearing the due date of their
unexpected daughter Holly, adding to the string of financial pressures. Always being Pressured
and always trying to provide enough was his top priority and when he realized death was
approaching he knew he had to do something. Walt is forced to lead a double-life, playing the
loving husband and father to their son, Walt Jr., while maintaining a low profile as he produces
some of the most chemically stable and pure meth the local addicts have ever encountered.
Walt and Jesse are put in a number of compromising and illegal situations, but, unsure of what
the future holds, Walt justifies his actions by attributing it all to the financial stability and wellbeing of his family.

Family and loved one have always been his motivation. Its what drove him to push the
boundaries. If she is right, then Walt remained a somewhat typical American: narcissistic, selfpreoccupied, overly individualistic, self-entitled, and loyal to no one except his family and maybe
Jessie.

"For starters, the writers packed the pilot with reasons to feel sorry for Walt," Magliano says.
He's struggling financially. He has a son with cerebral palsy, a baby on the way and now, he is
dying of cancer. In the end some of us will always root for Walter. Whether out of pity or
something else.

In the end Walt was alive but not entirely good. He was satisfied but selfish. He was the center
of his universe.
