NOTES to the instructor:

-The allocated hours to units include time for workbook and any other extra material for
practice. Please make adjustments to allotted times according to the needs of your learners.
Please do NOT skip parts not indicated in the list below. All of the objectives are set based on
the materials presented in the books and handouts. The assessment procedures will follow
the nature of the exercises and activities covered in the classroom.
Please cover ALL the exercises and activities in Vocabulary Handouts in class. Instead of
assigning as homework first and checking in class afterwards, opt for doing them in class first
and assigning the rest of the material that is left over as homework.
Please do ALL the activities in the Writing Handouts in class. Do NOT assign them as
homework before working on them in the classroom first.
Please do the Reading Practice materials in class as they contain new items that the students
are not familiar with.
Please check the OLR 0.5 assignments in class even if the students may have the answer key.
They need to understand how to answer the questions. NOTE that long answers are NOT
required.
You may opt for checking online workbook materials and/or Grammar in Use materials by
selecting a very difficult portion among the exercises. It is not possible nor practical to go
through ALL the exercises in the classroom. For those who need help, office hours may be
used.
