Of the total Bid Security amount of Rs.141.49 lakh, an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
of INR 5/- lakh and a non-refundable tender document fee of INR 39,375/- (INR 37,500/+ VAT(5%)) totalling INR 5,39,375/ ( Rupees Five lakh thirty nine thousand three hundred
seventy five only) shall be remitted into the account number given in the remittance
form provided by the e-Procurement system for this particular tender. Only NEFT
remittance allowed: RTGS payments, Account to Account transfers or Cash payments are
not allowed and are invalid mode of payments. Hence, the remittance form provided by
e-Procurement system is to be used only for NEFT payment. The NEFT facility for online
payment may be exercised at least 48 hours before the closing date of the bid to ensure that
payment towards tender document fee and EMD is credited and a confirmation is reflected in
the e-procurement system.
The Balance bid security amount of INR 136.49 lakh should be submitted in the
form of a Bank Guarantee from a Nationalised/ Scheduled bank except Indus Ind bank.
Bank Guarantee for Bid Security in Original along with original Bid agreement in sealed cover
superscribing Cover No.1- Bank Guarantee and Bid agreement in original should reach to
the office of the Chief Engineer(Projects-Electrical Designs) after the last date of online bid
submission but on/ before the due date of opening tender. Failure in submission of Cover
No.1 in original will lead to the rejection of the tender.
Cover no.1 will be opened online and on verification of the Cover no. 1,
Cover no.2( Pre-qualification Bid) will be opened. The hard copy of the
original documents such as bank guarantee and Tender agreement
submitted by the bidder in Cover No.1 will be opened there after. If any
discrepancy is noticed in the tender submitted by the bidder through
online and the hard copy submitted by the bidder, the tender will be
summarily rejected .
The pre-qualification/technical bid shall be opened online at the office of the Chief
Engineer (PED), Vydyuthi Bhavanam ,Pattom in the presence of the bidders/ their
representatives who wish to attend, on the date and time mentioned above or the date
modified and communicated through the corrigendum. All other existing conditions related to
the tenders of KSEB Ltd will be applicable to this e-tender also. The tender details will also be
available in the KSEB Ltd website www.kseb.in. The bidding authority reserves the right to
modify/cancel any or all bids without assigning any reasons. KSEB Ltd will not be responsible
for any errors like missing of schedule data while downloading by the bidder/non receipt of
