Description:
Oman Air, the designated carrier of the Sultanate of Oman is a
business enterprise committed to the basic objective of providing safe,
reliable and profitable air transport services for passengers and cargo
as well as other aviation related services.
Oman Air started implementing their Date warehouse and business
intelligence to integrate all their sources from Agents (Sales), Uplift
(Airport), Booking (online).The Source file includes Flat Files, Oracle
Database and MS_SQL server. There will be same set of data might be
available in multiple sources. Integrating all the sources into a single
data warehouse and provide high visibility of data across all the areas to
make timely and quick decisions.
Responsibilities:

Involved in Support process of existing modules.

Involved in Testing Process of Reports.
Development of New requirements and validation
Involved more on testing part to make the successful usage of
reports on regular basis.
Involved in writing the test cases to validate the data after ETL
load as a part of support implementation.

Phase 1: Implementation of CDD:

CDD (Customer Data Delivery Contents) contains information

related to Agents, Origin and Destination.
Explore more direct channels to customers using profile
information like telephone, email etc., for marketing campaigns.
CDD does not contain Point Of Sale (POS) information for
teletype PNR created from other booking systems. So, we make

use of Pseudo City Code (PCC), IATA number present in CDD
data to find POS information.

Phase 2: Implementation of Sales (ASR and BSP):

tables after parsing of the files.

Phase 6: Implementation of ACARS:

Acars module stores baggage information like the extra amount
