2. Click new, blue icon at the top left side of the application.

8. Now you will see this screen and it will take few minutes so dont be panic.
So wait and watch.

9. Bravo! You just created virtual configurations. This is how it should look
like. You can see the details circled in black. The details you entered while
creating virtual configurations Remember?
10.Now we will click settings, a window will pop up. On that window we will
select storage tab.

After choosing storage tab then click on empty just under yourname.vhd.
Then click that cd icon to the right end of the application. You will see the
option choose a virtual cd/dvd disk file. Select the option.
12. A window will pop up as you select that option. Once the window will open
then you need to open your downloaded windows XP ISO file like I opened it
in the snapshot.

13. Now it should look like the one circled in my snapshot. After that go to USB
tab.
Follow the arrow in my snapshot.

Then uncheck the option Enable USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller and click OK.

2. Cool! Now youve started the virtual machine. It will direct you to this blue
screen.
Then press enter on your keyboard. Now you are about to start the
installation of Windows XP

Wow! Youve just created the partition. Now press enter again to start the
installation.
Can you see C: Partition1 (new Raw)? Well thats your new partition on which
you are going to install Windows XP also known as C:\ Drive. You will see this
drive later once youve installed the windows.

Now please pay attention. Select the third option Format the partition using
the NTFS file system.
The reason is that the benefit of formatting FAT32 is that all operating systems will recognize
your flash drive, whether it be Windows, OSX, or Linux. If you format NTFS you will only be able
to use the drive on Windows based operating systems. One of the downsides to FAT32 is that the
maximum size for a single file is 4GB, however if you format as NTFS this problem will be
resolved.

You will see the process like this. So let it complete and please do not turn
off the system.

Once the previous process has been completed your system will restart and
then you will see this window.
