Besides the coating itself quality, there is also close relationship between the coating service life
and the construction. Especially the to-be-painted object surface treatment, even there is a small
amount of debris, will affect the coatings performance. Therefore, prior to application, the loose
rust, raised old coating film, oxidized layer, etc. on the to-be-painted object surface must be
cleaned thoroughly. Just clean the surface dirt and dust for ordinary rust and corrosion. Adopt 88
series quick oil-removing, rust-removing phosphatizing agent for cleaning rust and corrosion like
oil grease, etc. After it is hard dried, clean it thoroughly once by abrasive paper or dry cloth and
then go for high temperature paint application. Apply high temperature paint when the rustremoving standard is reached.

Paint preparation:

There are A & B double-component for this paint with relatively thin viscosity and the A: B
shall be 4:1 (weight ratio). Put A into B for sufficient mixing. After that, hold for 3-5 minutes
before application. The dry film thickness will be 25um for one pass coating. And the dry film
thickness shall be 50-80um, which needs 2-3 passes in order to achieve heat-resisting anticorrosive requirements for 3-5 years. But the dry film thickness shall not be more than 100um
since crack will occur if the thickness is too much. The prepared paint shall be applied and used up
within 4 hours, so it is required to prepare paint as per actual needs. For single-component paint, it
is only required to mix evenly and apply directly.

Application:

(1) Brushing: (88 series oil-removing & rust-removing phosphatizing agent, refer to the manual).
The high temperature coating shall be applied first from the top and then to the bottom and from
left to right so as to form film with even thickness.

(2) Spraying: It shall be evenly sprayed and the spraying passes could be determined as per actual
needs. Usually it is two to three passes.

(3) Coat film thickness: Apply as per actual environment. The thickness of two to three passes will
be 50-80um. If the coat film is thin, the heat resisting and heat conducting properties are better; if
the coat film is thick, the anti-corrosive property is better.

Drying:

(1) Natural drying: after application of double-component, the surface dry will be reached after 1
hour in normal temperature (25) and hard dry will be achieved after 12 hours. For singlecomponent, surface dry will be reached after 4-6 hours. There might be fake dry and hard dry will
be achieved after longer time (72 hours) or by heating.

(2) Drying by baking: Put the painted object in normal temperature for 1 hour to let the majority of
solvent volatilized. And then bake 0.2-1 hour in 150 for full dry.

Diluents:

The coat viscosity will increase along with construction period. WEH type special diluents could
be added for adjustment. This kind of diluents could also be used for washing.

Storage period:
A 6 B 6
6 months of storage period for both A component and B component. It still can be used after
tested as qualified if it expires the storage period. And the paint shall be stored in cool and dry
places with favorable ventilation. Any kindling is strictly prohibited.
