which is at the forefront of research development into
creative practice, ensures teaching and assessment take

Business Challenge
Construction work commenced in January 2010 to provide the academy with a second campus in Glasgows
City Centre. The Spiers Locks Studio development, provides accommodation for the expansion of Technical &
Production Arts, Musical Theatre and Modern Ballet, including Technical & Production Arts design, set & wardrobe construction and four large high-specification dance
and musical theatre rehearsal studios.
The Royal Conservatoire were looking for an industryleading partner to design and implement a cutting edge
network within its new state of the art campus. As part
of the huge renovation project, the Royal Conservatoire
required seamless connectivity throughout the new studios alongside the deployment of a sophisticated security
system.
Solution
Using their industry expertise, Boston Networks designed,
planed and installed an augmented category 6A network
cabling infrastructure throughout the new campus.
