The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly the Royal

Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD), founded
in 1847 and based in Glasgow is the UKs only provider of
conservatoire level education in music, drama and dance
and one of very few globally. The RSAMD also offers PhD
and MPhil degree courses which are validated and

high speed connectivity, throughout its campus, but it facilitates the seamless convergence of network video surveillance, access control and video streaming capabilities across
its IP network.

Business Challenge
Construction work commenced in January 2010 to provide the academy with a second campus in Glasgows

required seamless connectivity throughout the new studios alongside the deployment of a sophisticated security
system.
