PROPOSAL FOR THE HIRE OF STAFF

Background
Hong Kong has experienced favorable economic conditions in recent
times that have contributed to a thriving housing market. As a result of
this increase in the number of home buyers, Hopeluck Company has seen
its business grow steadily along with the growth in demand for curtain
fittings and fixtures.
With the economy showing no signs of slowing in the near future, it is
expected that demand for Hopelucks curtain fittings will continue to
grow steadily. While this promises healthy business and earnings growth,
it is crucial to consider the potential strain the rise in demand would
have on Hopelucks already lean productive capacity in terms of
manpower. In addition, as consumer tastes and preference continue to
evolve with higher expectations of workmanship and design, there is a
need to ensure Hopeluck has adequately skilled workers amongst its
ranks to meet this demand. Therefore, the Human Resource (HR)
Department wishes to propose for the hire of additional staff in the
functional areas of curtain making and fitting to expand Hopelucks
productive capacity to cope with the expected rising demand.
Objectives
