Digital Internship

Make Yourself Employable


Objective: To help the Engineering students become more employable through a national
level Digital Internship program supported by a corporate Internship Opportunity,
Professional Certifications & IEEE International Memberships.
With unicorn start-ups like Ola, Flipkart and PayTM preferring Engineers even for non-tech
domains like BD, Operations, Program Management and Marketing, the time is right to
strengthen the skills required to turn the tables in your favour. This internship is designed to
help future Engineers become more employable with an opportunity to avail a full time
Internship Opportunity with Careers360 Pvt. Ltd., Professional Certifications, IEEE
Memberships, LinkedIN Premium Profiles and Certificates.
On an average, 1.5 million Engineers graduate every year in India, but as per the NASSCOM
report, only 25% of them are employable. If the statistics of Aspiring Minds Employability
Report 15 is to be considered, the results are only 20%.
What does it require to be Employable?
From Internship Opportunities to Professional Certifications, well take care of that!
Through the interesting tasks of this digital internship, participants will learn the concepts of
Creativity, Idea Flow, Networking and Time Management. The opportunities ranging from
full time Corporate Internship to IEEE Memberships and from LinkedIN Professional
Profiles to Gift Vouchers will ensure that the talent is rewarded.

Duration: 1.5 months

Eligibility: Students enrolled in any branch of a B.Tech / BE course at any level (I-IV yr)

Rewards:
1. Participants of Top 10 teams will get a chance to qualify for an Internship
Opportunity at CAREERS360.
2. Team securing the first 3 positions will be rewarded with the following Professional
Certification Courses: (for both the participants individually):
i. Corporate Essentials Program for I Position
ii. Certificate Program in Information, Privacy & Data Protection for II
Position
iii. IT Foundation Course Skills with C Programming for III Position
OR the teams can opt for Cash Prizes
iv. INR 20,000/- for I Position
v. INR 10,000/- for II Position

3. Next 20 teams (Ranks between 4th-23rd) will be rewarded with IEEE International
Memberships for 1 year with access to journals, seminars, eminent research
scholars, technical papers etc. Final and Pre-Final year students can exchange their
membership reward for LinkedIN Premium Profile.
4. Next 10 teams (Ranks between 24th-33rd) will get to select from the following list of
Certification Courses and Study Materials:

5. Teams which do not qualify for Round 2 will also be eligible for exciting Certification
Programs and Study Materials.
6. Flipkart Gift Vouchers worth INR 1000/- to top 10 teams for generating maximum
reviews through Referral in Task 2 - Round 1.

7. Certificates of:
a. Participation: on successful completion of Round 1.
b. Achievement: on successful completion of Round 2.
c. Merit: Top 3 Position Holders.
8. Honourable Mention: Top 3 teams would get their photographs & next 10 teams
would get their names mentioned in CAREERS360 English magazine. A copy of
Magazine will be delivered along with the certificates.

Digital Internship is divided into 2 Rounds:


Round 1: Register, Review, Refer
A fun filled round to engage the students and enhance their networking skills
Registration: A student registers for the Campaign at www.careers360.com/liveproject/registrations along with his team member. A team can have max 2 participants.
However, individual participation is also allowed. There is no restriction on the number
of participating teams per college.
Registration on the portal generates a referral code.

Round - 1 has 2 Tasks:


Task 1: Review & Rate Your College

After Registration, both the members of the participating team (if the
team has 2 registered members) have to Review & Rate their college
individually at www.careers360.com/colleges/reviews/write-review
using their own referral code.

Guidelines for the writing a Review:

Mention your own experiences. Not a general perception or what youve heard
of. Remember, a review of yours might help someone to make an informed
college choice later.
Share your positive, as well as negative college experiences.
Speak your heart out. Make the review descriptive.
Refrain from using foul language. Do not call names.
Only those reviews which follow the above mentioned guidelines will be
approved on CAREERS360 portal.

Task 2: Networking (Community Engagement)

Share your referral code generated during registration and ask your friends to
write
an
honest
review
about
their
college
on
www.careers360.com/colleges/reviews/write-review using your referral code.
Minimum 15 approved reviews by referral (per team) are mandatory.
Top 10 teams generating most reviews through referrals would be rewarded
with a Rs 1000/- Flipkart Voucher each.
Teams can check the number of reviews generated through their referral by
visiting http://www.careers360.com/track-referral .

Parameters for Qualifying Round 1:

Participating in both the Tasks is mandatory.

Minimum 15 reviews in Task - 2 is mandatory. Remember to tell your friends to


enter your referral code while writing the review.
The teams completing all the above rounds as per our guidelines will be entitled to a
Certificate of Participation.

Round 2: Campus Connect


A step further towards the Internship Opportunity and Professional Certifications.
Let the world know more about your college.
Task 1: Your College Your Pride

Share a presentation telling us Why your college is the most happening place
to be in not more than 7 slides.
The first slide should contain your college name, team name, participants name
and referral code. Remaining 6 slides will cover 6 points.
Photos in the presentation should be interesting such as a hangout joint, most
fearful section (HoDs Office, Examination Room etc), accompanied with a brief
description.
If a student or an alumnus is an entrepreneur, recipient of a state / national
level award or the highest CTC (annual placement package) of your college, do
let us know with his photo and reliable description through the same
presentation.

Guidelines for Presentation:

Presentation should contain photographs clicked by you and not picked up from
various sources. No filters on images should be used.
Share the link, screenshot of your college website etc wherever required to
support your claims.
Presentation would be evaluated for Creativity, Images & Language.

Task 2: Share your Reviews Make your college visible

Teams have to share the reviews generated using their referral code through
Facebook Share link on careers360 Review Page. Teams have to engage the
audience to Agree / Disagree with the reviews by asking them to click on Yes
/ No buttons on Was this review helpful?.

Points would be awarded for the number of shares (60% weightage) as well as
number of votes generated (40% weightage of the total score of Task 2).
Both, Yes and No votes on Was this review helpful have equal weightage.
Participants can access the links of the Reviews generated using their referral

Parameters for Qualifying Round 2:

Teams would be evaluated on the basis of their performance in both the Tasks.
Task 1 has a weightage of 40% and Task 2 carries a weightage of 60%.

Final Result Evaluation:

Overall result for the winners would be based upon the cumulative marks scored in
Round 1 & Round 2. Both the Rounds carry equal weightage.
All the rewards, certificates, prizes etc will be processed once the campaign ends.
Results of all the intermediate rounds would be declared before the start of the next
round.
A written Testimonial briefing about their experiences and learnings from the Digital
Internship is mandatory.
