Sentences Structures:
Sentences with a subject, object and one verb: the subject
(S) of the sentence comes first followed by the verb (V) and the
object (O) at the end. S->V->O!
-Adverbs are normally placed next the words they are referring to.
There are 3 types of adverbs, TIME adverbs, MANNER adverbs and
PLACE adverbs. Adverbs of TIME often go at the beginning of the
sentence, although this is not a definitive rule. Adverbs of
MANNER comment on verbs so it is most common for these to
come directly after the verb. Adverbs of PLACE often come first in
the sentence when you wish to emphasize something.

German Culture:

Soccer, or Fuball, is the nations most popular sport by


far. Skiing is common due to its location- near the Alps. Germany is very organic/all
natural when it comes to food and most things in general. In other words its a very
green nation. Beer plays a huge role in Germanys society. Oktoberfest is held in
Germany. Many excellent car names are from the country including BMW, Porsche,
Audi, Volkswagen, and more. Science and technology are some major attributes of
the country. Germany is not relatively close to how it used to be during WWI and
WWII and strives to distance itself from that part of its history. Education is seen as
very important, and Germanys economy is very strong due to the intelligent,
innovative people from the nation. Christianity is the most commonly practiced
religion. Germany has established a high level of gender equality, promotes
disability rights, and is legally and socially tolerant towards homosexuals. Gays and
lesbians can legally adopt their partner's biological children, and civil unions have
been permitted since 2001. Germany has also changed its attitude towards
immigrants; since the mid-1990s, the government and the majority of Germans
have begun to acknowledge that controlled immigration should be allowed based on
qualification standards.

composers. A few famous ones born on the present territory of
Germany include Bach, Hndel, Beethoven, Schumann, Mendelssohn,
Brahms, Wagner and R. Strauss

kinds of beer. German people are the world's second biggest beer
drinkers after the Czechs

have banned smoking in workplaces, and restaurants. One of the
political reason for this is that the Nazi officially frowned on smoking,
and post-war German legislators have been afraid of imitating Nazi
