a copy of which is kept in the lounge
of the clubhouse
The Committee particularly ask all Members to
observe matters of etiquette referred to in Section 1
of the Rules, especially: 1. Do not hold up other players by slow play
2. If searching for a ball, call the following
players through.
3. Replace all divots, fill and smooth all holes
and footprints in bunkers - and repair pitch
marks and spike marks on the greens.
Do not drop the flagstick or your bag on a
green.
4. Golf trolleys / buggies must be kept clear
of greens tees and bunkers.

In the calendar section are details of Home and Open

Competitions, Golf Society, I.W. Golf Union, Alliance and
I.W. Ladies Golf Association Fixtures where known.
Dates may be changed should unforeseen
circumstances arise. The Monthly Calendar
displayed in the Club Competition Room will show
any changes.
The competitions which are sponsored by commerce
or charities are noted in the fixture list. Notification
of sponsorship is still awaited in some instances and
if this is not forthcoming event(s) will revert to medal
etc. as the case may be. Others may be added to
existing competitions during the year.
A handicap certificate is available from and will be
completed by the Secretary / Competition Secretary
on request. Members are reminded that most clubs
require such a certificate before allowing play.
Please remember that those playing in competitions
have priority and cutting in is NOT allowed during
competitions.
In order to protect our course and locker room floors,
soft spikes should be used in the place of metal
spikes whenever possible.
