School and education of Afghan

In 2006 more than 4 million students were enrolled in schools in

Afghanistan. However, there are still significant obstacles in relation to
education in Afghanistan, including the lack of funds, lack of security in
institutions, and cultural norms. The lack of female teachers is an issue that
concerns some Afghan parents, especially the more conservative areas.
Some parents do not allow their daughters to be taught by men.
The literacy rate in the country is estimated (in 1999) to 36% and
literacy of men 51% and women 21%. In 2008 there are 9,500 schools in the
country.

Another aspect of education that is rapidly changing in Afghanistan

coeducational learning English. The university accepts students from
Afghanistan and neighboring countries. The construction work will start soon
at the site selected for the University of Balkh in Mazar-i-Sharif. The new
university building, including the construction is higher education. After the
fall of the Taliban, the Kabul University was reopened to male and female
students. In 2006, the American University of Afghanistan to the
Department of Engineering, will be built on 2.4 square kilometers of land
and will cost 250 million dollars.
A new military school is working to train and educate Afghan soldiers
properly.

Life and family of Afghan

Not only the Pathans, but also the Afghan Royal Family has a wellknown tradition, reporting its origin in ancient Israel, coming from Binyamin
tribe.

This tradition was first published in 1635, in a book called Mahsan-IAfghani and is often mentioned in the research literature. According to this
tradition, King Saul had a son named Jeremia, who had a son named
Afegana. Jeremia died at the same time the death of King Saul and Afegana
was created by King David and remained in the royal court during the reign
of King Solomon.

Approximately 400 years later, at a time of turmoil in Israel, Afegana

family fled to a country called Gur, in the central part of Afghanistan. They
settled there and done business with the people of the region, and in the
year 662, with the advent of Islam, the children of Israel in Gur have
become the prophet with 7 representatives of Afegana, the leader of the
Israelites was Kish as his father's name Saul.

According to this tradition, Muhammad rewarded them and the

Hebrew name Kish was changed to Arab. A-Rashid, receiving the task of
spreading Islam among his people. These are the roots of the Royal Afghan
family.

Thus, the Afghan Royal Family has the ancient tradition of Israel - the
tribe of Binyamin.
