Dear Consumer:

Your correspondence concerning USC Credit Union was received in this office on
1/26/2009.

A copy of your correspondence has been sent by the Department of Financial

Institutions (lithe DFI") to the financial institution for their investigation and response.
The letter requests that they review the issue and reply to you and the DFI within
twenty business days (Excluding weekends and holidays).

Please keep in mind that we act solely as a facilitator in resolving consumer

complaints. The following is list of DFI policies with regards to consumer issues:

1) The DFI does not give legal advice or act as your attorney;
2) The DFI is not a court of law and, therefore lacks the authority to cancel
contracts, issue judgments or award damages;
3) The DFI does not resolve factual disputes or disagreements over the
interpretation of a contract (in these situations, your recourse may be to seek
the benefit of legal counsel); and
4) The DFI cannot interfere with a licensee's internal policies or procedures that
do not constitute an unsafe or unsound banking practice.

If the DFI does not hear from you within twenty business days after receiving the
bank's response, we will conclude that the matter as been resolved.
