1. Warm-up:

The teacher greets the students, introduces the guest and asks if anybody is absent.
Activity 1
Aim: - Homework check-up
Procedure: The teacher checks the homework randomly, grading the students that gave the
best answers.

2. Activity 2
Aim: to set the scene
Proced ure: The teacher announces the title of the new lesson, writes it on the blackboard and
then tells the students that they are going to listen to a song in which the days of the week are
mentioned.

3. Activity 3
Aim: to introduce the new lesson and to develop students' reading, listening skills
Procedure: The teacher plays the song from exercise 1, page 76. The students will listen to
the song at first with their books still closed. After the song ends the teacher tells the students
to open their books at page 76 and pay attention to exercise 1. Then the teacher will play the
song once more making sure that the students look over the song in their books while the song
is playing.
After the song ends students take turn in reading the text aloud.

4. Activity 4
Aim: to introduce the new vocabulary and to develop students' writing skills

Procedure: After the text is read, the teacher writes on the blackboard the new vocabulary
and the students copy the vocabulary in their notebooks. Then the text is translated into
Romanian.

5. Evaluation
Aim: to check students' understanding of the lesson
Procedure: The teacher asks the students to close their books and notebooks. Then she gives
each student worksheets containing the days of the week. Then she asks the students to put
the days of the week in order. The students who finishes first gets a grade (F.B.).

6. Homework
The students will have an exercise in which they will have to complete with the missing
letters the days of the week. They will also have to learn the new vocabulary by heart.
