Superintendent of Excise are expected to acquire a through

knowledge of all matters connected directly or indirectly with the Excise
administration of their district. To monitor functioning of excise licensees
holder & Excise Administration of Cuttack district and control Excise
Crime. To inspect all kinds of Excise Shops. To Act upon on the Guide
Lines/instruction received from the Higher Quarters. The main work of the
Superintendent of Excise is to see to increasing Collection of Excise
Revenue, to control Excise Crime & to make the lifting position of MGQ
(IMFL/BEER/C.S)high.
