Dear Parents and Guardians,

As part of our study on agriculture, we will be taking a field trip to Tasty Roots on July 8, 2016. Tasty
Roots is a farm-to-table restaurant that focuses on healthy lunch options. On Friday, July 8 we will be
leaving the elementary school around 10am, and we will take a bus together to the restaurant.
Students will take a tour of the restaurant, and then learn about how Tasty Roots prepares their food
for the day. The students will then get to enjoy a specially made lunch of their choosing from Tasty
Roots. If you would be interested in chaperoning, please write a note on the permission slip.
