About the speaker

Professor Dr. Lodd Mahendra is the Principal and also heading the department of Orthodontics &
Dentofacial Orthopedics, of Sri Venkateshwara Dental College & Hospital, Thalambur, Chennai.
He completed his graduation in Dentistry from Madras University in the year 1981and was
awarded with numerous medals and prizes during BDS course and was the best outgoing student
1981. He completed his MDS from Madras University in the year 1986. since 1988 he is
Dr.LODD MAHENDRA., M.D.S., Graduate in dentistry from Madras university in the year
1981 He then graduate under the same university as MDS in orthodontis in the year 1986. He
started the career in teaching in both in BDS and MDS in orthodontic from the year 1988. He
holds a diplomat from Indian Board of Orthodontics and he was chairman of the Indian Board
Orthodontic. In the recent past he also held position as an editor of Journal of Indian
Orthodontic Society. Currently he is the PRINCIPAL/ PROFESSOR & HOD, Dept. of
Orthodontics Sri Venkateswara Dental College & Hospital, Thalambur , Chennai
