What I learned: Spreadsheets are a great tool as well for calculating percentages and the odds of
a certain item occurring within a larger body of items. This activity definitely taught me how to
cut through certain parts of the work in order to increase productivity and cut down on time.

NETS-S: This covers Standard #3 for Students Research and Information fluency: Students
apply digital tools to gather, evaluate, and use information.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: Thisll be a great way to show students how to
calculate percentages within a grid of information, and even show how percentages can be
decimals for certain lessons.
