word alien, the immigrants are offended because the American people are making fun
of them because they are immigrants.

Cronkite News in the non fiction article titled

"Alien" should be dropped from government use, lawmaker proposes they are explaining
that a lot of Americans are calling the immigrants aliens. It makes you less than a full

American (paragraph 14) . The quote supports that people are being offended,
because the American people are saying that if you are an alien you are less than
American because when people came from other countries they hope that they are
going to be treated with respect. In addition, Cronkite News asserts You could be a

fifth-generation Latino," (paragraph 14.) This describes that Latinos are the most

common kind of immigrants and people assume that they are aliens. Finally, the author
asserts: he said, and yet the language used about immigrants by political leaders feels
racist (paragraph 14). The stated evidence supports the fact that a lot of americans are
calling immigrants aliens and are racist. Therefore, in order to allow for everyone to be
accepted the president should do an agreement that make the americans to pay a fee if
they call immigrants aliens again.
