Depth Of Field

Depth of field is dependent on how much light is let into the lens and the distance
between the nearest and furthest objects giving some objects more focus than
others. As you have a main focus yet when you increase your aperture setting you
change the level of focus on the objects in the foreground and then the objects in the
background become less visible compared to the ones in the foreground. This
means that you are increasing the depth of what is in focus and making it the main
focus, it can also make the objects in the scene sharper and stand out.
