OVERVIEW

The California College of Music (CCM) is a forward-thinking modern popular


music college that accepts students from all over the world. Originally founded
in 1999, CCM first blossomed under the supervision of the legendary trombonist
Wayne Henderson and Grammy winning recording engineer Reggie Dozier, who
outfitted our campus with a world-class recording studio. CCM is known for its
encouraging environment. Courses are taught by a distinguished faculty of
experienced music industry professionals who teach students in ideal classroom
sizes and professional performing ensembles.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the California College of Music is to empower aspiring
musicians with the skills and confidence to thrive in the modern
popular music industry.
To achieve this mission, our talented and qualified faculty utilizes proven
educational methods, gives students thoughtful personal attention, and
engages in continual self-evaluation. Upon graduation from CCMs programs,
our students possess a well-rounded professional skill set that includes
technical proficiency, fluency in music theory, a broad working knowledge of
music history and popular styles, a disciplined work ethic, and a confident,
optimistic attitude.
