Adaptive wavelet wiener filtering of ECG signal

The main objective is to remove effect of EMG signal on ECG with use of wavelet
wiener filtering.
For denoising of signal using wiener wavelet method, estimation of noise free signal
required.
Dyadic wavelet transform (SWT) has used in both estimation of noise free signal and
wiener in wavelet domain.
To improve performance of filtering operation, parameter of wiener and estimation of
noisy free signal is adapted according to intensity of interference in input signal.
Accurate detection of characteristic points of ECG is impossible if spectrum of QRS is
overlapped with spectrum of noise.
Linear filtering is not an effective one to preserve on set and off set of QRS complex.
Wavelet transform decomposes signal into wavelet coefficient, for effective elimination
of interference suitable modification of wavelet coefficient is required.
Though it performs denoising well, there is choice of level of decomposition, filter bank
and strategy for modification of wavelet coefficient.
The disadvantage of DWT is need of interpolation in reverse transformation. Wiener filter
requires estimation of noise free signal which is needed for calculating correction factor
of wiener filter.
Different wavelet is used for the estimation and wiener filtering.
Most of algorithm make use of wavelet filtering with decimation and hard thresholding
for estimation of noise free signal.
Aim is to find suitable filter bank and suitable parameter of wiener according to intensity
of interference.
